Here’s The Scoop
InkSpot Public Relations is a San Francisco-based public relations shop focused on raising awareness of both established and growing consumer lifestyle businesses. As the name implies, we believe INK – publicity – is what our clients want, first and foremost, and we dedicate our time, energy and creativity to bring results to life.

What’s different about us? First, we are small by design. We like to keep it personal. Second, we aim to simplify the process of getting press attention by spending less time on overdone, expensive PR strategies and more time on results. We’ve been doing this for a while, and we like to think we’ve figured out a trick or two as to what works! We also work hard to understand your business and goals, making ourselves fast experts in your field so that we can get to the “heart” of your story and collaboratively build an approach for success.

Our approach includes:
Developing fresh and creative story angles, press materials, look books, and other tools of the trade
Keeping our pitch approach fresh and in step with the rapidly evolving online and traditional media landscapes – and maintaining good relationships with our press friends.
Staying on top of current trends and what’s in the news and finding ways to tie it to your business
Making multiple points of contact with editors, including face time when appropriate
Developing creative mailings, events and other ways to get you noticed

Why Publicity?
As a growing business, you need credibility in order to take it to the next level and obtain recognition in an increasingly crowded world. That is where publicity comes into play. Having your story, service, product or design in a national magazine, on a regional TV show, in the local paper, or prominently posted on a popular site or blog can do wonders to open doors to potential new clients, vendors and business partners – as well as drive the public’s interest in who you are and what you do!

“During her first year as our publicist, Donna and her team at InkSpot PR literally doubled the media coverage we had for San Francisco Fashion Week. She also did a great job of helping to educate the public on what our event is all about."
